Favourites for the night were the orange jewel bugs all together under leaves, dragon fly, scorpian and the green leaves that appeared red under UV light! Robert OakesHad a really amazing time doing the tour in the morning way back in January, sorry it's a late post! But super insightful info into the species that we spotted on the walk, with so many jumping spiders that made taking photos a real treat! Having rented the pro camera I actually shocked myself at how good some of the pics I took were, I genuinely couldn't believe I'd taken such awesome pics! Bridgette was super friendly and helpful with showing me the way the camera works, and telling me all about the species that we saw. If you like photography and finding critters then I would 100% recommend this to anyone. My first go at proper photography and I think it's got me hooked. I've always used my phone for pics and now I won't use it at all, the quality difference is insane! Thanks again Bridgette, and sorry for a late review!Posted on Google
Angela CooneyRachel took our small group for a thrilling night walk with headlamps, seeing eye shine from spiders, moths, stick insects and katydids, fruit bats and even a striped possum. She helped our youngest member to take his own exciting photos of the bugs, and reminded us all about caring for the bush and its residents. Definitely worth doing!Posted on Google

A new appreciation for tiny creatures! Rachel our guide was very information and friendly. The group was small so we all got to see the creatures and interact with the rest of the group. I just took along my Om system TG-7 camera and they helped me set it up for the night. The images from the cameras you can hire for the night were amazing. They were so detailed. For a person who isn’t that keen about bugs, it was good fun and I’ve now got a better appreciation of these tiny creatures. Thanks for a fun night in the botanical gardens!!Posted on Tripadvisor
